Finally, I should like to add that complete records of all the above accounts, except No.4, were left hidden in the roof of one of the buildings in the French Convent. Unfortunately, the building was hit by a bomb which destroyed the records.

Mr. S.W. Perry of the Hong Kong Bank acted as Auditor and will, I am sure, be willing to certify that the accounts were properly kept.
